Group II operates at the core of the petrochemical value chain, focusing on products derived from refineries and steam crackers. Leveraging our global trading network, we develop businesses in solvents and phenol-chain products across international markets.
In addition, we are actively engaged in the highly specialized catalyst sector, creating market value through a diversified and multi-layered portfolio.

Group 2 Features

The Group 2 trades phenol chain products collectively, mainly in Asian markets, through and in cooperation with Mitsubishi Corporation’s overseas network. Through this business, we have established a system to adaptively respond to suppliers’ and users’ needs in accordance with the supply-and-demand trends.
Our products are widely used in a broad range of segments, such as engineering plastic for the automotive and electrical appliance industries, parts for the electronics industry, dyes, medicines, and solvents. We can thus make full use of synergies with our strength in the solvent and coating material fields.
