OUR BUSINESS
We are widely engaged in the trading business and business investments at a domestic and global level, mainly for phenol chain products.
The Group 2 is engaged in domestic and global trading of phenol, acetone, bisphenol A, and other products in the same chain, as well as in business investments. Additionally, we will expand our business for aromatic compounds and olefin, which are upstream products in the petrochemical industry, and intermediate products, which are downstream products in the industry.
Group 2 Features
The Group 2 trades phenol chain products collectively, mainly in Asian markets, through and in cooperation with Mitsubishi Corporation’s overseas network. Through this business, we have established a system to adaptively respond to suppliers’ and users’ needs in accordance with the supply-and-demand trends.
Our products are widely used in a broad range of segments, such as engineering plastic for the automotive and electrical appliance industries, parts for the electronics industry, dyes, medicines, and solvents. We can thus make full use of synergies with our strength in the solvent and coating material fields.
