Participate in the Hana Kaido Project

  • As part of its CSR activities, Mitsubishi Shoji Chemical Corporation is participating as a “flower volunteer” in the flower support program sponsored by NPO Hana Kaido. The Hana Kaido Project is an initiative to decorate the Chuo-dori Street (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) with seasonal flowers. Employees participate in the clean walks (picking off dead flowers, pulling weeds, and planting flower bulbs) held several times a year as part of the local beautification activities.

Participation in “UMIGOMI Zero WEEK”

  • Mitsubishi Shoji Chemical participated in “UMIGOMI ZERO Week” as part of its ISO and SDGs initiatives, We will continue to participate in “UMIGOMI ZERO Week” with the aim of reducing marine pollution.

Using personal cups

Mitsubishi Shoji Chemical Corporation encourages all employees to use their own cups as part of our initiatives to reduce our environmental impact and waste.
Employees’ use of their own cups has led to a significant reduction of paper cups compared to the number of paper cups used in the past.

Continued donations

Mitsubishi Shoji Chemical Corporation has continued to make the following donations.

  • UNICEF Japan (international social contribution)
  • The Japanese Red Cross Society (domestic social contribution)
  • Hana to Midori no Tokyo Bokin (environmental contribution)

In addition to the above, the company actively makes donations and engages in volunteer activities during large scale disasters.
