Environmental Approach

The head office of Mitsubishi Shoji Chemical Corporation has obtained the environmental management system certification ISO14001 and established a PDCA cycle in accordance with the requirements of the standards. With the aim of continuously improving the environment, the company is striving to fulfill its social responsibility in relation to the global environment.
On April 1, 2022, we revised our environmental policy to the “Basic Sustainability Policy” that includes all aspects of sustainability, and we will aim to achieve a sustainable society, including both the environment and society.

  • Encourage employees to acquire qualifications such as engineers responsible for handling poisonous and deleterious substances or hazardous materials

  • Implement training on the basic matters and procedures for internal environmental audits, and foster internal environmental auditors

ISCC PLUS Certification
(International Sustainability and Carbon Certification)

Mitsubishi Shoji Chemical Corporation (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Noriyuki Koga) has newly acquired
ISCC PLUS certification, one of the international certification sustainability systems.

In order to contribute to the bioeconomy, We will continue to expand the lineup of ISCC PLUS certified products,
and to source ISCC certified bio-based materials on the mass balance method.

and to avoiding the practice of double counting the our environmental contributions.
